Our History…
LAN member agencies have long and stable histories of providing adoption services – some well over 100 years. While popular trends come and go, we have continued to focus on the needs of children.  Our longevity means we tend to see the “big picture” for adoptive families.

Our Ethics…
We believe there is absolutely no reason to mislead parents or create unrealistic expectations in order to obtain your business.  You can depend on us giving you the honest information that you need, even if it may not be what you want to hear.  We don’t cut corners or find ways to “beat the system” and our philosophy is that the child’s needs always come first. 

Our Commitment…
Lutheran agencies have a multi-service base rather than a narrow concentration on the adoption “market”.  Our commitment to all aspects of human service and social ministry is reflected in the range of services that our members provide, along with adoption.
